Experience New Zealand


This New Zealand familiarisation trip offers you the chance to experience the best of New Zealand tourism.  To be eligible you simply need to be on track for graduation and be meeting the attendance requirements.  You may find yourself at a destination such as the Bay of Islands, Rotorua, Wellington, Nelson or Queenstown.  This exciting trip allows you to experience every aspect of the tourism industry, from different forms of transportation and accommodation, through to attractions, activities and shows.  Climb the Harbour Bridge, soak in a hot pool, go bungy jumping, jet boating or luging, what will you do?  This three day trip is included in the cost of the course. 


Distinction Student

Are you wanting to be the best and have the travel and tourism industry recognise your abilities? Sir George Seymour offers top performing students the opportunity to excel. A Distinction student is a student who has attended class every day and has passed all the unit and modules in the qualification. These students then go forward to sit two distinction exams – one written and one practical to become one of the elite group of students known as Distinction Students. This achievement is recognised both at graduation and through the presentation of an exclusive certificate.


International Educational

This exciting optional feature may take you to Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Fiji, Vanuatu, Bangkok or other exciting destinations. Event Co-ordination

Relish the opportunity to organise your own amazing event. As part of the course your team will be responsible for planning, budgeting, organising food and beverage as well as entertainment for a stunning event such as a mid winter Christmas party, great race or gala graduation.
